Endoscopy
Colonoscopy
Colonoscopy is an out-patient procedure in which a camera is used to visualize the inside of the large intestine (colon and rectum). Colonoscopy is used to screen for colon cancer as well as to investigate GI problems such as bleeding or changes in bowel habits.

Virtual Colonoscopy (CT Colono)
A virtual colonoscopy is an alternative to the standard colonoscopy. A virtual colonoscope uses a CT Scanner as opposed to a camera to render 3D images of the inside of the large intestines. Essentially it provides the same information about the large intestines as a standard colonoscopy in terms of visualization.

Gastroscopy
Gastroscopy is an out-patient procedure in which a camera is used to visualize the inside of the esophagus, stomach and part of the small intestine. Gastroscopy is used to screen for cancer as well as to investigate GI problems such as gastritis or bleeding.

Imaging
Fibroscan
Fatty liver is on the rise with more than 20% of adults suffering from this condition. In diabetics, the prevalence soars to more than 45%. Luckily, if caught early we can treat fatty liver and prevent it from developing into cirrhosis and liver failure.

FibroScan is a non-invasive technology quantifying fibrosis (scarring) and steatosis (fat deposits) in the liver. With its patented Vibration Controlled Transient Elastrography (VCTE technology), the FibroScan is the most recommended non-invasive device to use in the clinical management of patients with liver disease.

Ultrasound and MRI
Imaging used to look at the liver and screen for tumors, cysts, fatty liver and gall stones.

Functional Testing
Food Intolerance, Food Allergy Testing
At Addlife we use specialized blood tests to help identify allergic foods. A comprehensive program of food avoidance and gut rehabilitation can help you recover from food allergies. And eventually, you can return to eating them.

Leaky Gut and
Gut Dysbiosis Testing
An imbalance in the gut microbiome can lead to chronic inflammation and damage to the intestinal lining. Gut integrity can be measured along with the overgrowth of “bad” bacteria, fungi and yeast. Once identified, leaky gut can be effectively treated.

H.Pylori Testing
This bacterial infection increase the risk of developing gastritis, peptic ulcers and stomach cancer. Many times the infection goes unnoticed. It is important to screen for H.Pylori because treating an infection helps prevent cancer.
